P.U.A.C.S. Piccoli Discepoli della Croce

The Monastery of " S.Maria della Purità" is the center of the Association "Piccoli Discepoli della Croce".

" I piccoli Discepoli della Croce" is a public association inspired on diocesan right .


The association want to be a ferment and evidence for the sanctification of the world, working inside of this. Theirs members included in this world take her situation but with a spirit of consecrated, outstretched to realize their sanctification with the apostolic specific mission towards the parts most important for Jesus, the sick people, with particular consideration for the priests, sick children, worried to create with them a supper-room, an exactly house, where morally and physically assisted, they can spend their life.

With the decree of the President of Republic, this association has been acknowledged in the terms of concordat dated the 11 february of 1929, within the Church and the Italian people, as the local association.

The Association has the same benefits than a moral corporation without the examination of the State, it can obtain and receive donations and legacy testamentary of immovable properties or real estate.

The Pia Unione sick people Jesus salvation includes all sick people and everybody has a vocation to consecrate themselves to help sick people and suffering, as the brother and sister of these sick people. Its composed of friends, co-operators whose support, concerning theirs possibilities, how the association want do for them.

The " Pia union sick people of Jesus salvation" has another activities more, to organize pilgrimages, promote other activities for these people, for exemple in Lourdes ( 8-11 february by airplane; 19-25 august by train) and in others sanctuaries (Regional Pilgrim to the S. Gennaro sactuary the 25 of April), meeting, theological-biblical conferences, training on the problem of sick people in the community and on the Christian-social suffering, convention,, the Mondial day sick in the liturgical day of the Lourdes's Virgin Mary in the 11 of february.


Anymore, the P.U.A.C.S since her established in the 11 of february 1963, promote the popularization of crib , preparing in her spiritual center "S.Maria della Purità", an artistic-classic crib open from Christmas day to 2nd of february, the show on the crib in the world (extraordinary for the presence of all continents), as well as the stamp show on the Christmas time, everything included in the high spirituality alfonsiana very important for this association.
